    • Stream SX (for students currently in Class XII): Must have secured at least 75% (65% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in Mathematics and Science subjects in Class XI and should be pursuing or planning to pursue an undergraduate program in Basic Sciences.
    • Stream SB (for students in the first year of undergraduate studies in Basic Sciences): Must have secured at least 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in Mathematics and Science subjects in Class XII.

  2. Exam Pattern:

    • Stages: The KVPY exam is conducted in two stages:
      • Stage 1: Written Test (Objective type questions)
      • Stage 2: Interview (for short-listed candidates based on the written test)
    • Subjects Covered:
      • Stream SA: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (based on Class XI syllabus).
      • Stream SX: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (based on Class XII syllabus).
      • Stream SB: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (based on first-year undergraduate syllabus).
